Job Description for Lead JavaEE Developer:
Excellent career opportunity for Java/JavaEE developers who will be responsible for designing and developing the company’s products in Security Information Management and IT GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance). We are looking for technically strong hands-on Lead developers and Senior Software Engineers who have flair to work for start-up companies.
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the architects in product design and development of company’s product line
- To guide other developers in software development.
- Help resolve key technical issues on projects
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to create simple solutions for complex problems with proper abstractions and modularity for long-term code lifespan.
- Should have flair to research latest technologies and share knowledge with the rest of the team.
- Thorough understanding of Design Patterns
- Strong skills in documentation of Detailed Design & other artefacts using UML
- Ability to review code, set coding standards
- Proficient in the complete suite of commonly used JEE 5 technology e.g. Servlet, JDBC, JNDI, JPA, EJB 3.0, etc.
- Proficient in SQL, XML
- Knowledge of directory servers, single sign-on, etc. is desirable.
- Reasonable working knowledge on some of the commonly used platforms in the area of Database, Application Platform and Operating Systems
- "Superb" problem solving skills.
- 4 to 6 years experience in complex systems/software development
