Chandra Sekhar Bilugu, Co-Founder and Chairman

Chandra Sekhar is a successful serial entrepreneur, technology leader with over 23 years of international experience in Product management, Product development, systems design, technology strategy, and consulting services.

Chandra’s work experience includes technology business management roles in United States and Asia-Pacific with a combination of multi-national corporations and high-profile entrepreneurial start-ups. Prior to founding eGestalt Technologies, Chandra was head of Intel’s Asia Pacific solutions services business. Chandra started his career in PSI Data Systems and Hewlett Packard as a software engineer. Chandra was founder of Singapore and Malaysia based INT Solutions which was a regional leader in document management systems in the early 90s. Chandra was one of the promoters of Networks Solutions India which was acquired by Intel Corporation in 2001.

Chandra played key role in Government of India’s e-Governance initiative and standardization. Chandra is an active member of e-Governance committee. Chandra also led the digital infrastructure and data centre optimization technologies for Intel.

As Chairman and managing director of eGestalt Technologies, Chandra’s vision is to provide innovative and cost effective leading edge solutions leveraging on cloud computing and latest world-class solutions. He has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Andhra University.

Anupam Sahai, Co-Founder and President, eGestalt Technologies Inc, USA

Anupam is an accomplished management, marketing, and technology leader, with 21+ years of experience, directing teams of up to 50 professionals to develop and launch globally-renowned products, generating up to $350M/annually. Possesses strong technical background and demonstrated business planning acumen; expert at leveraging client needs, market trends and corporate goals to identify growth opportunities and execute effective global marketing strategies. His career is distinguished by identifying new business and growth opportunities, forging key strategic partnerships, leading the rapid development of innovative products and the ability to bring those breakthrough products to market in record time with P&L responsibility.

Prior to moving into eGestalt Inc, USA, Anupam was Vice President Marketing for IXIA (NASDAQ: XXIA), Inc., Calabasas, California. He was responsible for world-wide marketing and strategic business planning. He drove the global expansion of $200M product portfolio by directing a 23-person team to develop and execute global marketing initiatives and business strategy. Planned the go-to-market strategies to ensure maximum lead generation and revenues for product launches; drove expansion into new geographies (including Europe and Asia-Pacific) and market segments by orchestrating planning and product strategies. His key achievements were, launching the next generation products, securing 9 best product and market leadership awards and driving the development of innovative search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Web 2.0 based e-marketing and social media strategy.

Prior to IXIA, he was Senior Director and General Manager, Software products and applications, Polycom, Inc., San Jose, California. Prior to that he was also a Director, Technology and Strategy, Corporate CTO group, Polycom where he solidified relationships with strategic partners - Microsoft, Avaya and Nortel.

During his tenure at Microsoft, Anupam played a key role in formalizing and executing the penetration strategy for Windows Media format and platform. He has held various positions in Silicon Graphics, Hewlett Packard and Kent Ridge Digital Labs.

He has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, INDIA, Masters in Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, INDIA and a Masters in engineering plus an MBA from Sloan School of Management, both from MIT, Cambridge, MA. He has to his credit three world-wide patents, has published 10 technical papers and is a featured speaker at several industry conferences worldwide.

Mukund Surange, Chief Executive Officer, eGestalt Technologies Pvt Ltd, India

Mukund assumed the role of CEO at the Indian Headquarters in Bangalore on the 22nd March 2010. Prior to eGestalt, Mukund was a General Manager at IBM. He had long stint with IBM for 17 years. Mukund brings with him 21+ years of strong business, management, and technology background in the technology consulting and product development arena. Mukund led the financial markets delivery practice for IBM India global delivery, as General Manager, where he was responsible for helping in formulating the service growth strategy, developing new capabilities and creating differentiators for the practice and managing operations. Mukund holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a master‘s degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He has a MBA (postgraduate diploma) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
